Shashank has been instrumental in building an education model that brings together Finnish pedagogy, internationally recognised academic pathways and holistic development.
His philosophy goes beyond preparing students for examinations or university. He believes education should cultivate curiosity, independent thinking, creativity, collaboration and resilience, alongside strong academic foundations, character and well-being.
When Pedagogy Meets Place
For Shashank, educational philosophy cannot exist in isolation from the environment in which it is experienced.
He sees learning spaces as an active part of the learning process- from flexible classrooms and collaborative areas to creative, technology-enabled spaces, sports facilities and outdoor environments.
The underlying idea is simple, but significant:
If we want children to learn differently, should we not also think differently about the places in which they learn?
