‘Het College’ in Weert accommodates 1,400 students across multiple educational levels: VMBO, HAVO, and VWO. The building also houses two sports facilities: a multi-purpose sports hall and a municipal sports hall built to NOC*NSF standards.

Located in a green setting just outside Weert’s city center, the school embraces its natural surroundings with floor-to-ceiling windows, offering students and teachers a bright and stimulating learning environment filled with natural light.

The transparent façade allows learning activities inside to be visible from the outside, reinforcing a sense of openness. This transparency is complemented by colored facade panels, creating a dynamic and inviting exterior. The linear, meandering design of the school ensures that each functional area has its own dedicated wing, while the centrally located learning domains remain easily accessible. A shared atrium serves as the heart of the building, seamlessly connecting the two wings and fostering interaction among students and staff.
