“Sing, Move & Play” is a play-based approach inspired by world-renowned music pedagogies, The Orff Schulwerk Approach & Kodály Method“. This is our flagship program that teaches you how to teach through Play! We use music, movement, and the spoken word in many themes: rhythm, improvisation, and form.

These two days, we will take a deep dive into this child-centric pedagogy and best practices. You will be introduced to the Tala Play-Based Framework and will witness lessons delivered on how you, as an early childhood and lower primary teacher, can make learning engaging and immersive. As a class teacher, you will learn how to use music and movement in your circle time and transitional activities, and even use it to teach numeracy, literacy, language, and more!

You will make connections and network with like-minded educators, and we hope to build a community of passionate educators who want to make a paradigm shift in the way you teach.

About the Sessions

All our sessions are facilitated in a convenient parallel to how you will teach. Our sessions are practical and hands-on, providing a template and ample samples on how to teach through play.
