There comes a moment in every movement when conversation must travel deeper than applause and beyond photographs. For us at GLSN, that moment became Learning Spaces Unboxed.

We did not launch another show. We opened the door.

As the ‘Global Learning Space Network’, GLSN has always stood at the intersection of education and architecture, curating and celebrating projects that redefine how children and young adults learn. Across India and beyond, we have documented extraordinary schools, universities, makerspaces, and libraries that prove a simple truth: learning spaces are not containers. They are catalysts.

Yet behind every inspiring campus lies a quieter story. The negotiations between pedagogy and planning. The tension between budgets and boldness. The delicate art of designing for well-being, for inclusion, for childhood itself.

Learning Spaces Unboxed was born to tell those stories.

Why “Unboxed”?

The logo says it before we do.

A sculpted “L” anchors the mark, grounded and architectural. Around it, a faint outline suggests a frame, a boundary, a box. And then, a cube floats just outside the grid. Slightly offset. Slightly free. That cube is a curiosity. It is the idea that space can move beyond its edges. It represents the act of unboxing a classroom, a campus, a system, and asking: what thinking lives inside this form?

The restrained palette reflects credibility. The geometry reflects intention. The openness reflects dialogue.

Because this is a podcast for architects. A podcast for educators. A podcast for designers shaping the future of learning environments. And above all, it is a conversation.

The vision found its visual voice through our close collaboration with the Ahmedabad-based creative studio Secret Whisperers, led by Ms. Rikita Agrawal and Ms. Nikita Agrawal, who translated the intent of Learning Spaces Unboxed into a refined and thoughtful identity; we were also fortunate to seek insights from our supporter Ms. Alisha Sinha, architect and doctoral researcher in education, whose perspectives helped shape both the narrative behind the logo and the very name of the podcast.

The Motive Behind the Microphone

At GLSN, we believe that the design of space influences collaboration, teaching methods, equity, and emotional well-being. A child-scaled corridor can nurture confidence. A flexible studio can invite experimentation. A courtyard can become a curriculum.

Through Learning Spaces Unboxed, we sit across from the architects, educators, learning space designers, and institutional leaders who have shaped some of the most thoughtful educational environments across India and other nations. We ask them not just what they built, but why. Not just how it looks, but how it lives.

Every episode is curated with care. Every project is studied before it is spoken about. We do the groundwork so that when you press play, you receive depth, not noise.

This is not trend-driven content. It is a growing knowledge base.

A Destination for a Community

This podcast is dedicated to our community.

To educators seeking clarity on how spatial design complements pedagogy.
To architects entering practice and wondering how to design for different age groups.
To interior designers crafting sensory-responsive classrooms.
To brands serving schools and universities who want to align product with purpose.
To policymakers and founders rethinking what campuses can become.

We envision Learning Spaces Unboxed as a global hub of insight. A searchable library for anyone exploring educational architecture. A platform where emerging architects can learn how shifts in design respond to evolving learners. A space where ideas travel across borders and return enriched.

If you are searching for a podcast for architects, a podcast for teachers, or a podcast on educational architecture that moves beyond aesthetics into impact, you will find resonance here.

Building a World-Class Ecosystem

GLSN is evolving into more than a media platform. We are cultivating a vibrant ecosystem that curates projects from across the world, connects stakeholders, and foregrounds spaces that value well-being, inclusion, co-design, and long-term adaptability.

We believe that when learning environments are thoughtfully designed, they quietly improve lives. They support educators. They empower learners. They influence futures.

Learning Spaces Unboxed is our way of amplifying that belief.

We are unboxing not just buildings, but mindsets.
Not just classrooms, but possibilities.

And with every episode, we move one step closer to a world where learning spaces are designed with intention, empathy, and courage.

Welcome to the conversation.
